Annual Vitality 5K Walk Annual Vitality 5K Walk

June 2, 2024Your participation in Vitality 5K helps Parkinson Association of the Rockies (PAR) push boundaries and invest in programs and services that are a lifeline to those with Parkinson’s, their Care Partners, and their families. 100% of the proceeds stay in communities throughout Colorado and Wyoming to help us provide free services, including: assessments, 50+ support groups, 75 exercise classes, educational opportunities, use of our equipment loan program, and access to PAR’s information and referral helpline to answer immediate questions concerning the many aspects of Parkinson’s.

- $75 = 2024 Vitality T-shirt

- Denver Vitality 5K Bash: After the walk at Washington Park, plan to stay for the music, food, beer garden, games and more at the Vitality Bash!
- Virtual Vitality Option: If you can’t make it to a walk, go ahead and register for a location (as an individual or team) to donate and access fundraising tools. You can host an informal walk or run in your area, or simply stay in while still helping support the Parkinson’s community.

June 25, 2024Table Tennis Connections, a Fort Collins based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is offering a Neuropong™ Program.
This is a ping pong program tailored to the Larimer County Parkinson's community and is aiming to an overall better quality of life by improving both motors and non-motor symptoms that people experience because of the condition. Individualized attention will be placed to each of the participants, with the desire to increase their awareness of their physical capability through the benefits of table tennis.
Table Tennis Connections is working side by side with the Movement Disorders Center of Anschutz Medical Center and its specialized neurologists.

Days: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 9:00-11:00 am

Our Certified RSB Coaching Staff incorporates non-contact boxing in a fun but challenging workout that focuses on improving mobility, strength, balance, flexibility, cognitive functionality and overall fitness. This program is for anyone, at any level of PD, who wants to lessen their symptoms and lead a healthier/happier life.
