This is a ping pong program tailored to the Larimer County Parkinson's community and is aiming to an overall better quality of life by improving both motors and non-motor symptoms that people experience because of the condition. Individualized attention will be placed to each of the participants, with the desire to increase their awareness of their physical capability through the benefits of table tennis.

This is a ping pong program tailored to the Larimer County Parkinson's community and is aiming to an overall better quality of life by improving both motors and non-motor symptoms that people experience because of the condition. Individualized attention will be placed to each of the participants, with the desire to increase their awareness of their physical capability through the benefits of table tennis.

2:00 pm: CSU PD Singing Group

One hour group meeting at the CSU music therapy clinic led by Dr. Andrew Knight and music therapy practicum students. We do a variety of vocal warmups to emphasize volume, breath control, and articulation. No singing experience necessary—our goal is to work on your voice and have some fun doing it! We sing a variety of songs from folk, rock, country, and other genres and all eras that are well known, lyrics are provided, so just bring yourself!

Where: 1400 Remington St, across from the trial gardens. Park in 2 hour parking on Lake St and enter in the alley by the sign that says “CSU Music Therapy Clinic”

One hour group meeting at the CSU music therapy clinic led by Dr. Andrew Knight and music therapy practicum students. We do a variety of vocal warmups to emphasize volume, breath control, and articulation. No singing experience necessary—our goal is to work on your voice and have some fun doing it! We sing a variety of songs from folk, rock, country, and other genres and all eras that are well known, lyrics are provided, so just bring yourself!

Where: 1400 Remington St, across from the trial gardens. Park in 2 hour parking on Lake St and enter in the alley by the sign that says “CSU Music Therapy Clinic”

Table Tennis Connections, a Fort Collins based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is offering a Neuropong™ Program.

This is a ping pong program tailored to the Larimer County Parkinson's community and is aiming to an overall better quality of life by improving both motors and non-motor symptoms that people experience because of the condition. Individualized attention will be placed to each of the participants, with the desire to increase their awareness of their physical capability through the benefits of table tennis.

Table Tennis Connections is working side by side with the Movement Disorders Center of Anschutz Medical Center and its specialized neurologists.

Location:Council Tree Covenant Church gym on 4825 S Lemay Ave, Fort Collins, 80525
Days: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 9:00-11:00 am
Tuesday 11:30-1:30
Fee: $5 covers the cost of the venue

10:30 am: Rock Steady Boxing

RSB is a clinically backed fitness program designed exclusively for people with Parkinson’s disease.

Our Certified RSB Coaching Staff incorporates non-contact boxing in a fun but challenging workout that focuses on improving mobility, strength, balance, flexibility, cognitive functionality and overall fitness. This program is for anyone, at any level of PD, who wants to lessen their symptoms and lead a healthier/happier life.

11:00 am: Power Punch Parkinson's Friday

Meeting together at TITLE Boxing every Friday at 11am. Classes includes stretching, balance, coordination, strengthening, endurance, and boxing moves. Participants must complete a Parkinson Association of the Rockies (PAR) waiver prior to attending .

It is led by Gil Wette (Boxing Instructor).
